“A few things about myself- I am trans non binary and in a wheelchair. I am married to an abled bodied trans woman. We both have suffered from PTSD and depression. My wife and I decided we wanted to have a baby. But once I was pregnant we realized a few things: we don’t have the money; we hadn’t yet healed from our trauma; and as a disabled person I was very sick thus unable to continue the pregnancy for my own health. I hope that we will have children, but I am thankful I had access to an abortion so I could make the best choice for my family and myself.”
